The Altare del Predicatore, an altar also famous as Piramide (Pyramid), rises in the area of Rocchette, near Cagnemora. Rocchette is an important example of Roman industrialization in the land, with a notable pottery kiln and the so-called road of the Domizi.
The Pyramid is a remarkable monumental complex believed to have been used for sacred rites. A massive stairway realized in a single boulder leads to the top of the rock. It is very likely that the origins of the Piramide date back to a pre-Etruscan period. The imposing dimensions, the surrounding landscape, and the proximity with other first-rate monuments make the place an extraordinary archaeological site.
